I enclose in original a memorandum entitled "Anti-British Feeling in China", by Mr. John V. Braga, late of Hong Kong, which has been communicated to the Foreign Secretary by Mr. John R. Battley, M.P.
We have read the memorand
with
interest, and are following up the idea of a pamphlet for British subjects going to China which is mentioned on page 17. As, however, the memorandum is mainly concerned with Hong Kong, Mr. Battley has been informed that it is being passed to the Colonial Office, for such action as you may consider desirable.
Yours sincerely lov. Kutom
(G.V. Kitson)
N.L. Mayle, Esq.,
Colonial Office.
